Close to Jamaa el Fna, hotel manager met us at the taxi drop off location and took us to the hotel personally

Evrything was good. Very clean. GREAT interior and a garden!!! Lovely roof terrase! Internet connection was good. Easy to find from main square. Friendly staff. The breakfast could have been better though.

Really friendly hostel. Very conveniently located although a little hard to find in the dark (when we first arrived). Staff are really frienly and the rooftop terrace is amazing! Only downside - the breakfast/sitting area is right outside the rooms and, with the floors being tiled, any conversation can drift up, particularly late at night. Really good stay and would recommend to anyone.

An incredible oasis of calm a stones throw away from the bustle of the souks. I stopped off here for one night before hiking in the Atlas mountains and returned for a day and night to relax on my way back down. The roof terrace and mint tea are a paradise and Abdul is a gracious and caring host. top marks, fully recommended

Abdul was the member of staff who was working during our stay and he was really great. He helped us with anything we needed and explained various Moroccan traditions to us in a really calming way. The room was gorgeous and the roof terrace was beautiful. We'd definitely stay here again! Also, it is actually really near the main square so easy to find once you get your bearings - no need to be guided to it by passers by who want a tip!

Zeer tevreden. Echt een aanrader. Locatie is fantastisch. Vriendelijk personeel, lekker ontbijt.

The room was lovely and the sun terrace added even more value for money. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, though a little variation would be nice. Clean and an excellent location. I would definitely stay again and recommend this hostel

This was the best place we stayed in our whole trip to Morocco. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and you can have it on their lovely roof terrace. The riad is really beautiful and the location is excellent and great value for money. It is just off the main square in an interesting street. The riad is very peaceful and a lovely place to relax with friendly and welcoming staff.

Peaceful and welcoming riad
This Riad is an oasis of calm within in the busy Marrakesh. It is so peaceful so you will definitely have a good nights rest. The host while we were there was Abdul who was so helpful and so kind. He brought us the most delicious breakfast every morning and was very helpful with information. The room was nice and it is such good value for the location. A great stay!

“Warm and cosy”
Very welcoming staff. Very reasonably priced with a nice breakfast. A lovely balcony upstairs to enjoy a calm moment away from the madness but still only a 5 minute walk from the Djemaa el Fna square.

“Very Good People working here”
When we first got to the area, this local "showed" us the way for money and took us to the wrong place and left us. We were able to call Riad Dar Tamlil and they sent somebody to walk us to the hotel. Then, we were warmly greeted with amazing mint tea and cookies. The next day they arranged a tour for us in the mountains/river and camel rides for a very good price. The hotel was clean and authentic. The bed was comfortable and the staff even shared their personal food with us. We came during Ramadan time...the time where everybody was fasting all day. We felt bad that they were not eating and we were, but they are such good people that they told us it is their practice and that we should not feel bad. It was just perfect and very close to the "center" or market. I cant say enough good things about this place. Definitely recommend this place if you are staying in Marrakech. The only thing is that all the Riads and hotels in this area are in scary looking allies but its a very old town that was made before cars existed. It is very safe, even though there is a lot of pushy vendors and people that ask for money but that is all of Marrakech except for the Dar Tamlil staff. They are very good people.
